The Solicitors firm of Pike & Chapman

Solicitors

The Solicitors firm of Pike & Chapman has the distinction of being one of the oldest firms in Galashiels. It can trace its origins back to Regency times and has operated out of premises in Bank Street during the entirety of its existence. The firm is currently headed up by Partner, William Windram. William was brought up and educated in the town where his father ran a small business. After being educated at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow respectively he returned to Galashiels to train as a Solicitor and begin his legal career. Although he has a wide experience in all aspects of Chamber practice William now concentrates on making Wills, winding up estates and advising on taxation and succession planning. He also undertakes some residential and commercial conveyancing.

William is involved with a number of local groups and organisation and serves on the Board or acts as a legal advisor to a number of local charitable organisations, Trusts and voluntary groups.

In their Bank Street offices William is ably assisted by Associate Hannah French who is a qualified Solicitor.
